August Dog’s Days in Los Angeles: Setting Up PROEUROPA
Meeting Arezza's John Leboffe online, and reading the news on IMF trying to inject money into the European Union's faltering economies, I got the idea of creating, together with Roberto Tarantino, a source of information on both the North American Free-Trade Area, as well as the European Union. Our focus is best practices, renewable energy, and travel safety alerts for Americans on both continents.

Would be great if you and Jim--and for other friends to make it to Costa Rica for Winter Break. So far flights that I looked at are running around $650 USD--with a lay over in Mexico City--so we could even visit there for a day or perhaps two.
There are tons of Youth Hostels in Costa Rica--many with swimming pools--they run around $15 per night--but more if you want a private room.
Since you speak Spanish fluently--and I do adequately--languages should be no problem. I was also thinking of heading to Cancun for about a week--since I have the month off.
Sid had a heart attack--so please call him--I am sure he would love to hear from you. Someone other than just Lube is now also looking after him.
I will be staying at the Extended Stay Hotel right near campus so I can walk to work! They give nightly, weekly, and monthly rates--so perhaps I will stay there some time--as they have huge kitchens, etc.--so it looks quite livable--and I could walk to work.
But it won't be cheap.
So how is everyone?
Robin--hope Susan picks me up at the airport--she said she would but I thought my flight landed around 1 PM--then realized it was closer to 4 PM--e-mailed her that info days ago--but have not heard back.
